Financial Support

Conservation shouldn't be limited by budget. We help connect you with funding opportunities and affordable solutions that make being a good land steward accessible for everyone.

Soil Test Cost Share

Understanding your soil is the foundation of good land stewardship, but soil tests can be expensive. We'll cover 50% of your soil test costs (up to $100 per Missaukee County household per calendar year) because informed decisions start with good data. We'll help interpret results and create action plans.

Basic soil fertility testing
pH and nutrient analysis
Organic matter content
Soil health indicators
Specialized tests as needed

NRCS Cost-Share Opportunities

Through our partnership with NRCS, we help you access federal conservation funding for everything from cover crops to water systems. These programs can cover most of your project costs, making major conservation improvements affordable. Our partners at NRCS will guide you through the entire process, start to finish.
