Do I need to register for workshops in advance?

Registration is recommended as most workshops have limited space (approximately 20-30 people max).

Are workshops suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! All workshops are designed for people with no prior conservation experience.

How much does a property site visit cost?

All site visits and written recommendations are no charge.

How long does a site visit take?

Most assessments take 1-2 hours depending on property size and complexity.

Do I need to be present during the assessment?

Yes, we prefer property owners to join us so we can understand your goals and answer questions immediately. If this cannot be arranged please reach out to us and exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.

Do your programs and services only help large landowners?

Not at all! We help anyone from small backyard projects to large agricultural operations.

Are your services really free?

Yes, all technical assistance, site visits and educational programs are free thanks to community support and our county millage. Some of our workshops include a small fee to cover material costs.

How quickly can someone visit my property?

We typically schedule site visits within 1-2 weeks of your request, often sooner. Seasonally we may be busy, but will always provide clear communication of our availablity.
