Birding by Ear Workshop

Service Description

Please join us on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 from 5-7 pm for our Birding by Ear Workshop! UM-Dearborn alumna Donna Posont will be leading this workshop. Donna coordinates the Birding by Ear and Beyond Program, which has received national attention. Join Donna, who herself is blind, for this workshop that will help participants increase their awareness of their environment and improve their abilities to identify birds without using vision. Learn to recognize bird songs, understand mating and nesting habits, migratory behavior, molting, and feeding preferences. Cost is $5/person. Registration is required.
