Large trees with wide-spreading, rounded crowns. These trees can live to be over 300 years old and their acorns are a vital food source for wildlife. White oaks are susceptible to oak wilt, but they are more resistant to the disease than other oaks and can recover from infection with limited damage. Attracts birds, pollinators, and other wildlife, and is a host plant for butterflies and moths.
