Quaking aspen are attractive year-round and have bright yellow fall foliage. The leaves move or "quake" with the wind, producing a soothing sound through the forest. This species can propagate through its roots and often forms large clonal groves. Other common names for this tree include trembling poplar, white poplar, and popple. Attracts birds and other wildlife.
