Produces small sweet berries purplish/black in color. This fruit is high in Vitamin C and is often used to make jelly and wine. Green foliage, and white flowers make this an attractive shrub that bears fruit in the summer. Shrub can grow 5-10 feet tall.  Two varieties are needed for pollination.

Soil Type: any type of well-drained

Soil pH: 5.5-6

Sun: full sun

Plant spacing: 5' apart with 6' to 8' between rows
