Missaukee Conservation District is open Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30 pm with the exception of Federal Holidays and the day after Thanksgiving.
At times, due to the nature of our work, we are in the field. If you call, please leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
The Missaukee County Recycling Center, located at 6240 W. Sanborn Road, is open Tuesday 9 am to 1 pm (Memorial Day through Labor Day), Wednesday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm.
The primary responsibility of the Missaukee Conservation District is to protect our natural resources. We encourage the use of land and water within the limits of its capabilities, and encourage the treatment of each acre with the proper protection and improvement it may need.
We provide assistance to Missaukee County land users through technical assistance, cost share, recycling, farming programs, Farm Bill assistance, soil erosion assistance and permitting, nature education, and recycling/composting.
Please take some time to browse through our website, and be sure to contact us if you have any questions. If you see a workshop or program you are interested in, we invite you to contact our staff. We are here to serve you.
