Shoreland Stewards Workshop-Canceled
July 10 @ 1:00 pmFree
The Shoreland Stewards Program is put together by the Michigan Natural Shoreline Partnership. This program is focused on conserving Michigan Inland Lakes by recognizing lakefront property owners who maintain their properties with lake-friendly practices, it encourages property owners to use natural shoreline landscaping techniques and provides educational resources to help property owners manage their property for a healthy lake.
If you are interested in learning more about the program, Julia Kirkwood from Michigan Department of Great Lakes and Energy will be giving a presentation on the program followed by a question and answer session. Here at the Missaukee Conservation District we want you to get involved and be recognized for your efforts as a property owner! This program is a perfect way to do that and connect with us to learn more about conservation and what you can do to preserve the Lakes in our county. This workshop is FREE to the public.
The workshop will begin at 1:00 PM at the Lake Township Hall located at 8105 W Kelly Rd in Lake City. Call us at 231-839-7193 to register. If you have any questions, give us a call or email firstname.lastname@example.org
